Analog Child is a filmmaker-led production company built on craft, authorship, and a long-term creative vision.
So far our careers have been defined by wearing every hat out of necessity — producing, directing, shooting, editing, delivering — because we loved the work and were willing to do whatever it took to bring it to life. That scrappiness shaped our foundation and broadened our skillsets. But it was never the destination.
Our biggest skill has always been executing on vision, and we want to step more fully into the role of producers — not to distance ourselves from the art, but to make it better. We want to be able to build the right team around each project, so we aren’t stretched thin and forced to be generalists. This will enable us to elevate the work while remaining at the centre of the creativity that defines it.
We’ll always want to occupy key creative roles — directing, cinematography, editing — wherever our authorship is essential. We are not interested in becoming detached executives overseeing volume. But we want to lift the burden of taking on every role ourselves so we can be the we can be in the areas we are most passionate about and most talented in.
We don’t want our growth to be about scale for its own sake. It needs to be about creating a focused, high-functioning creative studio where our leadership and artistry can coexist. Investment will expand our capacity without diluting our voice.
Right now we are constrained by resources and manpower — not by vision. What we want is to scale our execution to meet the ambition of our ideas.
This isn’t just buying a company or funding a company, this is building a company. You’re with us on day one and that gives us all so much opportunity to create the production house and content that we’re all excited to do.

Critical Role
Pre-Production & Client Development Lead
If we are fully engaged creatively, we cannot also be primary outbound sales and pipeline managers. This role exists to protect the studio from instability.
Responsibilities include:
• Identifying and pursuing suitable clients
• Managing RFPs and proposal submissions
• Building early-stage budgets
• Coordinating pre-production logistics
• Tracking pipeline health
• Maintaining follow-ups
• Supporting spec strategy
This is not a junior coordinator role.
It is a mid-level industry professional role.
Without this role:
• Acquisition defaults back to us
• Creative quality drops
• Growth becomes reactive
With this role:
• Creative focus remains intact
• Pipeline becomes predictable
• Outreach becomes consistent
This role is structural.
